Doggone, if there’s one thing I love about the internet, it’s the ability to go back and capture comments. And I REALLY love exposing the hypocrisy of these chuckleheads.

‘Tis the season for political hypocrisy, and Hillary Clinton just served it up for us to assess. Remember back in the 2012 election cycle when Governor Mitt Romney was captured on cell phone video — cleverly so — making his infamous 47 percent statement? The progressive socialist left went wild, just as they did with his comment about having binders of women’s resumes. Romney inarticulately expressed a truth about the growing welfare nanny-state and dependency society created by the progressive leftists — which has exploded under Obama. And we all know we’re in a race for the very heart of America.
Scottish writer Alexander Fraser Tytler succinctly and articulately stated, “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”
And of course Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville repeated Tytler’s assertion later in his book, “Democracy in America.” Therefore, this has always been a societal concern: the proliferation of a state of dependency turning citizens into subjects, which erodes the fundamentals of a democracy………
