Sanctuary City Leaders are Anarchists

The political liberal elite class has put themselves outside the law by declaring sanctuary for illegal aliens. If laws can be ignored at will, then anarchy will be the result. The real reason that these elitist leaders declare sanctuary is to use political correctness to strengthen their voter base. Does Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York City have the right to put legal residents at risk by protecting illegal aliens who may be felons?

Nobody knows for sure how many sanctuary cities there are in the United States, but there are at least 340. The real question that has to be decided is whether or not local, county or state politicians, politically elite or not, can choose to deny enforcing national laws. Over the last eight years, President Barack Obama and his two attorney generals have decided they are not going to enforce illegal immigration laws in the United States. For a mayor or the sheriff, or whoever makes a decision to disobey immigration laws, he or she is committing anarchy, in no uncertain terms. I have to ask if this continues, what other laws will the anarchists choose not to obey?

It seems to me then, if in doing so, these political leaders are not providing equal justice under the law. For a politician to decide that the fate of people who have illegally entered the United States supersedes the rights of their local citizens or foreign nationals who have entered the United States legally is not equal protection. Look at these numbers from FOX News: statistics show the estimated 11.7 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. account for 13.6 % of all offenders sentenced for crimes committed in the U.S.  They include %of murder sentences, 20 %of kidnapping sentences, and 16 % of ….
