Leader Pelosi: Pres Obama Very Respectful Of The Views Of The Republicans – Allen West On Megyn Kelly

Two stories dominated the news this week. The first was the killing of ex-Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner. Our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives because of this deranged individual.
The second big story was President Obama’s annual State of the Union address. Let’s assess that traditional speech and what it means for America at the beginning of a second Obama term.
Obama proclaimed early in the speech, “Together we have cleared away the rubble of crisis and can say with renewed confidence that the state of our union is stronger.” I don’t know where the president is getting his facts, but we pointed out America’s glaring problems in a video commentary. Click here to watch it now.
Obama also said, “The American people don’t expect government to solve every problem.” But then throughout the address, every single solution he offered called for government action, except where it is most needed.
Those who watched his speech or read the transcript saw nothing about rectifying our debt, deficit, monetary policy or regulatory environment, or about easing the pain of Obama’s healthcare law. And the president sought to escape responsibility for hollowing our military through budget sequestration, which his own press secretary admitted earlier that day was an administration idea.
Two pieces of legislation on Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s desk would replace the harmful, indiscriminate sequestration with targeted spending cuts. But then again, according to the president and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., we do not have a spending problem.
We keep hearing about balanced approaches, but the last fiscal bill we saw called for $41 in new taxes for every $1 in spending cuts.
The president also claimed in his speech that his plan “is helping to slow the growth of healthcare costs.” Unfortunately, the cost of insurance premiums has risen 17 percent – from $13,425 in January 2009 to $15,745 in February 2013 — and the Obamacare tax on medical devices will cost the industry 43,000 jobs.

America Has Crossed The ‘Red Line’
It’s a millstone of debt, not a milestone to celebrate

Greetings to all Americans, and here we are for another installment of the Next Generation weekly update.
We launched our “Next Generation Today” programming this week. Our pilot episode will give you a taste of the great content to come as we develop the show. Please watch it and share your feedback. Let us know what you like and what else you want to see in the future. Michelle, John and I appreciate your comments. Please keep them coming.
We also updated the Next Generation Data Card, which we encourage you to download here. We will update this card monthly to give you a quick snapshot of several key economic indicators.
Economic perspective from the CBO
Even more alarming is that if we add our unfunded liabilities – the mandatory spending for programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security – we have far exceeded the threshold. And that was the crux of the CBO report – that we must reform mandatory spending programs and get them under control.
The CBO also found that 7 million to 8 million Americans could lose their employer-based healthcare benefits thanks to the president’s plan. Remember, the law was touted in 2010 as only costing American taxpayers $940 billion. CBO later revised that cost to $1.1 trillion and just this week revised the cost to $1.3 trillion over the next 10 years.
I suppose it was as then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
With every passing day, the math coming out of St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker’s office becomes more and more fuzzy.
On Sunday the St. Lucie Supervisor of Elections conducted a partial recount of early voting. As a result of that count, the total number of votes dropped by 799. Then on Monday the Supervisor of Elections explained the drop by saying 3,650 votes were double counted on Election Night and 1,950 were not counted at all. Basic math tells us that removing 3,600 double counted votes and adding 1,950 does not add up to a drop of 799 votes, but rather a drop of about 1,700.
Of course, the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections could clear up a lot of this fuzzy math if she would simply release the poll sign-in books so Floridians could see if the number of voters who checked into vote corroborates the number of votes cast. She refuses to do so.
These facts should be alarming to anyone that cares about fair and accurate elections. Unfortunately many in the corrupt liberal media don’t seem to care and Allen’s opponent just wants everyone to move on regardless of the clearly flawed results. He clearly thinks other things are more important—like pretending to be a Congressman and getting to work on Nancy Pelosi’s agenda…
We will not allow this election to be decided without ensuring every vote is counted fairly and accurately. We need to make sure Florida, and the nation, have a principled leader in Congress like Allen West, not another phony politician who will rubber stamp the disastrous Obama-Pelosi agenda.
Thank you for your prayers, your efforts, your contributions and your continued advocacy for fair and accurate elections.
Sincerely,

Stuart, FL – Today Allen West released the following statement regarding the September jobs report:
“Try as they may, the Obama administration cannot fool Americans into believing they have jobs. The numbers simply do not add up. Millions of Americans have stopped looking for work and been dropped from the unemployment rolls. Over 22 million Americans are either unemployed or underemployed. Over 47 million Americans are on food stamps. The clear majority of Americans see the economy going in the wrong direction. Its no coincidence that just two days after Governor Mitt Romney pummeled President Obama’s economic record in the first debate, a desperate Obama administration releases jobs numbers belying the reality faced by Americans.
A month from tomorrow, Americans have a clear choice between the policies of President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Patrick Murphy, which have lead to record joblessness, growing government dependency and the weakest economy since the Great Depression, or our plan, which gets government out of the way of job growth and gives the American people the freedom and opportunity to create jobs, innovate, invest and grow.” - Rep. REP. ALLEN WEST BACKS JACK WELCH’S JOBS REPORT ACCUSATION: ‘I AGREE…CHICAGO STYLE POLITICS IS AT WORK HERE’: THE BLAZE
Dear Friends,
As I write this, we’re just $22,025 away from doubling our $100,000 goal for the DNC week. Will you push us over the finish line?
What we saw this week was incredible: a party that pushed us to a $16 trillion debt and pledged to dig us deeper. They promised more of the same policies that have resulted in unemployment over 8 percent for 43 straight months. They proclaimed that we all belong to the government and their delegates booed the inclusion of God and Jerusalem in their platform. Last night we saw an opportunistic
Last night we saw the failed former Governor of Michigan and MSNBC host literally go berserk on stage. Joe Biden continued to spew nonsense that required the suspension of disbelief. And President Obama? He desperately tried to ignore the last four years and returned to the same empty promises of four years ago.
These people and their failed policies are dangerous and Allen is leading the fight in Congress against President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and the out-of-touch, radical left. Stand with him today and help us reach our goal. Donate here: https://www.allenwestforcongress.com/contribute.

Dear Friends,
Yesterday, caught in their attempt to quietly throw the Jewish State of Israel under the bus in their party platform, Patrick Murphy’s Democrats dragged their party faithful kicking, screaming and booing to a vote to reinstate pro-Jerusalem language and references to God.
It was a cynical, political move to hastily pull a veil over their true beliefs. President Obama has attacked religion with policies forcing religious organizations to provide contraceptive services contrary to their religious beliefs.
His policies endanger Israel and his disdainful attitude toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and by extension, the Jewish people of both Israel and the United States, is reprehensible.
Your contribution of $250, $100, $50, $25 or $10 will help us fight back and expose the radical leftists running the Democrat Party for who they really are. Donate here.
Booing God and Israel? Are these the values of President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and their lapdog, Patrick Murphy? Make a contribution and watch the video. It’s truly disturbing and it’s motivation for the next 61 days.
Steadfast and Loyal,

P.S.We are closing in on our $100,000 DNC goal. Help us cross the finish line strong!
Stuart, FL – Today Allen West for Congress released two new television ads focused on the economy. The ads demonstrate the clear differences between Allen West’s plans to get the economy back on track so small business can create jobs, and Patrick Murphy’s support for Obamacare and the new taxes and regulations that continue to prevent the economy from recovering.
“The economic policies championed by President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Patrick Murphy have failed,” said Allen West. “When I talk to small business owners like Roger Dunshee of Twin Vee Catamarans in Fort Pierce, they all tell me the same thing: the taxes, regulations and energy policies coming out of Washington are making it impossible to hire and grow. Obamacare is making it impossible for small business owners to provide healthcare to their employees. The skyrocketing cost of energy is pricing small businesses right out of business. Miles of red tape are strangling their ability to expand.
With an administration pursuing these economically destructive policies, it’s no surprise unemployment has been about 8 percent for 42 months, poverty is skyrocketing, and food stamp recipients have increased by 45 percent. By getting government off the back and out of the pocket of taxpayers, we can turn things around. Getting our economy going again is my top priority and that’s why I am proud to have voted for over 30 jobs bills in the United State House of Representatives to cut taxes, reduce regulations and increase American energy production.”

Dear Friends,
Tomorrow morning I’ll be arriving in Tampa for the Republican National Convention, joining thousands of grassroots activists who are looking forward to electing Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan this November.
I wanted to make sure you heard about our RNC fundraising reception on Thursday. If you’re with us here in Tampa, we hope that you’ll consider attending in person or making a contribution of $25 or more to sponsor the event and help defeat Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s policies.
With just over 2 months until election day, every contribution will help protect the American Dream for future generations.
Thank you for standing shoulder to shoulder with me!

It has been an exciting and busy few weeks here in South Florida. We won our primary election with 74 percent of the vote and we now have a strong team in Governor Mitt Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan to take the helm of this great ship of state and restore our nation’s greatness and prosperity. The combination of Mitt Romney’s successful record in business and government, and Paul Ryan’s legislative experience and willingness to lead on pressing fiscal problems is just the recipe to get America back on the right path.
I would also like to congratulate all our Republican nominees for state and local office for their victories last Tuesday. The hard road lies ahead, and success will not be ours without the passion and drive of our supporters and volunteers – each and every one of you.
On a personal note, I am humbled by the overwhelming support from the Republican voters of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches, and I am honored to be your Republican nominee for Florida’s 18th Congressional District. Our campaign was successful because we are committed to standing up for conservative principles, and voters want statesmen who have the courage to say what they mean, and mean what they say.
Voters along the Treasure Coast – and indeed the nation – are faced with two very clear choices, and two dramatically different visions for the future of our Republic and that of our children and grandchildren. The results of the November election will determine the legacy we leave to our families. Will it be one of ever-higher unemployment, crushing debt, near-universal dependence on government handouts, porous borders that allow anyone and everyone to feed from the government trough and force the bankruptcy of programs like Social Security and Medicare?
Or will it be a return to our constitutional principles of economic freedom and individual sovereignty, in a country where we have the liberty to prosper without being punished for our success, keep our promises to our seniors, fully utilize our domestic energy resources and once again ensure peace through strength?
Of course, Patrick Murphy is big on criticism and short on ideas. That is why he has refused to debate. Over the weekend his “strategist” said he will not participate in any debate where rebuttals are permitted! I have no doubt that is because he will be lost once he gets off Nancy Pelosi’s talking points!
Predictably, Patrick Murphy (and the left-wing Super PAC funded by this father) has wasted no time in running negative advertising against me because he is incapable of addressing the issues. He talks about “compromise” and “fairness” which are essentially code words for saying whatever he needs to get elected. Once in office, Murphy will simply rubber stamp the policies of 0bama and Pelosi.
Last week Republican voters along the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches turned out in huge numbers to demonstrate they know which vision is right for our country, and which will be victorious in November. We’re energized, motivated, and ready to restore fiscal responsibility, individual sovereignty and economic freedom to this great nation. I am honored to stand with you here in Florida and represent you in Washington D.C. Together we will send a powerful message on November 6th.
