Allen West “The trail of deceit in the Benghazi incident leads back to the White House”

benghazi

by Allen West via Facebook and Twitter

House Oversight Committee on Benghazi hearing today, and yes, it does make a difference. The difference is, have certain individuals become so focused on winning political offices that they will lie, deceive, and mislead the American people? Are we so willing to sacrifice the lives of four Americans just so we can have a president we like and set up a presidential run for someone we feel is entitled? Losing an Ambassador cannot be the new normal. Abandoning two former US Navy SEALS engaged in mortal combat is reprehensible. Warning to the MSM, if you maintain your normal political bias in this case you will never be forgiven. Furthermore, you will have surrendered your journalistic integrity, assuming it ever existed. President Richard M. Nixon resigned over breaking and entering. The trail of deceit in the Benghazi incident leads back to the White House. Video, what damn video? President Obama, I recommend you search your soul for honesty because no silver-tongued teleprompter speech is acceptable. Salvage your honor, what little there is, or face the eventual wrath of the American people: yes, impeachment.

Allen West “Do not fall back into complacency, nor become alarmists, but become educated”

@AllenWest Already we have useful idiots with apologetic stances. Americans, don’t become complacent. Know your enemy & learn about the 21st Century battlefield

I pray everyone enjoyed a nice weekend. However, we must all remain vigilant and resilient. America suffers from a high level of attention deficit disorder and we become distracted by the sound bite. Let me share with you a favorite axiom of the Taliban I learned in Afghanistan: “Americans may have watches but we have the time.”

One week ago today we were reminded of the savage, calculating barbarism of radical Islamists. And sadly enough we already have useful idiots seeking apologetic stances. I humbly request we all do as Sun Tzu stated in “The Art of War” and know your enemy. Do not fall back into complacency, nor become alarmists, but become educated on the nature of the 21st century battlefield. Furthermore, as we go forward, elect leaders, not just empty vessels of rhetoric.

What is the true meaning of the southern phrase “that dog don’t hunt.”? When Col. Allen B. West heard that President Obama will not allow people to tour the White House, he said “that dog don’t hunt.” Hear more about the sequester, the Nation of Islam and more and Col. West tells you what dogs do and don’t hunt.

Allen West via Next Generation TV – Weekly Wrap Up “‘That Dawg Don’t Hunt’ In America”

AW NGTV
NGTV Weekly Update
‘That Dawg Don’t Hunt’ In America” - A Southern saying that echoes through the news

Down South we have this little saying to articulate in our simple vernacular that something does not make sense. Let me give you a few examples:

See, to schedule a soccer game on the third Saturday in October in Neyland Stadium, well, that dawg don’t hunt. For a fella to wear a Speedo on a bass boat on Lake Eufala, well, that dawg don’t hunt. To try and run a drag race at Churchill Downs, well, that dawg don’t hunt. For a woman to wear a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes on the back of a Harley on her way to a biker bar, well, that dawg don’t hunt. Or for some kids to be sitting in a Southern Baptist church and start complaining that they’re ready to go home, well, that dawg certainly don’t hunt. This past week as I thought about the news, I just mused, well, that dawg don’t hunt.Consider the Obama administration announcing, or pronouncing, that there would be no more White House tours because of forced “budget cuts.”

The last time I checked, we live in a constitutional republic with a representative democracy to elect our officials. In a republic, the people are served and, as President Abraham Lincoln stated at Gettysburg, “the government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth.”

That means the White House belongs to the American people, not the person who at any given time, by way of election, has the privilege to live there with our consent. The White House and the Capitol are not Versailles, and this is not a monarchy.

So when in the same week we find out Americans are giving $250 million to President Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt, well, that dawg don’t hunt! Those are hard-earned taxpayer dollars, and doggone, why the heck are we sending money to a terrorist organization while telling Americans their house is closed due to “budget cuts.”

Freedom of sedition is not a right
Or how about Louis Farrakhan recently urging Chicago gangs to protect an Islamic state in America? Yes, Farrakhan said he was sent by Allah to end Western civilization. At the University of Illinois at Chicago Pavilion, he implored all African Americans to “contribute to a united treasury and create a separate nation that would be protected by Chicago gangs.”Or how about Mustafa Carroll, executive local CAIR director, speaking at Muslim Capitol Day in Austin Texas. “If we are practicing Muslims,” he said, “we are above the law of the land.”In America, we believe in freedom of speech and freedom of religion, but we have one Country and one Constitution. Advocating against either is not a freedom but rather sedition, and frankly, that dawg don’t hunt.
Justifiable outrage over Benghazi and drones
My former House colleague Frank Wolf of Virginia contacted me about another issue this week. He has sent letters of inquiry about the 30 survivors from the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and he has sources telling him about seven severely wounded Americans who had been recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. We reported that story on “Next Generation Today. Some people, like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will say, “What difference does it make?” It makes a lot of difference ma’am. We don’t leave our men and women behind, and we certainly do not hide our wounded like lepers. And by the way Mrs. Clinton, when you traipse out in a few years wanting to be president, well, that dawg don’t hunt. We will not forget what happened on your watch: When the call from Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi came at 2 a.m., you did not answer and four Americans died on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.I was equally outraged to watch U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, while testifying before the Senate, refuse to respond simply to questions about the constitutionality of our government using drones against American citizens on American soil. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and other concerned senators took a principled stand against such drone attacks by engaging in an old-fashioned filibuster this week, which is a powerful way of saying, well, that dawg don’t hunt.

Today’s poor examples versus history’s great ones by Allen West on @Watchdogwire

It seems like everyone all of a sudden is learning about something that has been looming for nearly 18 months – sequestration. That awkward word is Washington-speak for draconian, across-the-board cuts to federal spending mandated in 2011 because the unduly titled “super committee” in Congress failed to make more targeted spending cuts.

Some officials in Washington will tell you we don’t have a spending problem. (Boy, they must be drinking something good!) But when you analyze the cuts set to kick in today, you learn that they represent only a 2.4 percent decrease in the growth of the federal budget. Actual spending still will increase!

sequesterThe cuts will be only $85 billion a year; the United States truly borrows that much in a month. The Federal Reserve also is printing money and buying mortgage security and treasury bond debt to the tune of $85 billion per month.

So what is all the hoopla about sequestration?

On Tuesday in Newport News, Va., President Obama decried the idea of sequestration. He never mentioned that the idea sprang from his White House. Instead, he highlighted all of the presumably terrible consequences for federal programs that could happen because of budget cuts.

As I watched this performance, I asked myself, “Is this the new face of American leadership?” I remembered when I was a military commander and wondered what my unit would have thought of me had I stood before them and complained about how bad things were.

What if that day before we crossed into Iraq in 2003 I stood before our battalion and screeched about how we would die, how great the enemy was and how we were not trained sufficiently to win. Where would the inspiration be?

Could it be that with the election and re-election of President Obama, we as a nation have forgotten what resolute leadership looks like?

Allen West ” Instead of a swanky dinner with GOP Senators, they should have ordered some Chick-fil-A”

allenw

by Allen West via Facebook

Everyone is talking about the dinner meeting last night with President Obama and several GOP Senators. Now I wonder if those fellas paid for that dinner themselves, or charged it to the American taxpayer? I would have preferred the President take a lesson from the movie “Dave.” Just find a simple person, a good CPA, and go line by line through the federal budget. What a great scene that was. Instead of these folks going out for a swanky dinner, they should have ordered some Chick-fil-A with the sweet tea on their own dime and locked themselves in a room with 2-3 CPAs and this morning announce they found $400B/yr to trim off the federal budget over the next ten years. OK, a fella can dream, can’t he?

Allen West “America is not a monarchy and the White House is not Versailles”

The White House and the US Capitol belong to the American people. What kind of autocrat believes he can tell the American people to get out? This is a Constitutional Republic and those in elected positions serve at the behest of the electorate. America is not a monarchy and the White House is not Versailles. We can give the Muslim Brotherhood government of Egypt $250M from taxpayers but tell the American people they cannot visit their symbols of liberty, freedom, and democracy? President Obama, where are your priorities, where lies your loyalty?

Allen West “The continuous propaganda rallies are a shameless display of a shallow campaigner who is incapable of leading”

AW8

by Allen West via Facebook

I am watching President Obama speak in Newport News, VA and well, this is the most pathetic display I have ever seen. Our president is standing there basically whining, certainly missing the target of exhibiting any semblance of an American leader. Can any of you imagine him standing before the Brandenburg Gate and demanding Mr. Gorbachev tear down the wall? Or how about imagining him inspiring us to greatness by challenging us to put a man on the moon?

The continuous propaganda rallies are a shameless display of a shallow campaigner who is incapable of leading the most exceptional nation the world has ever known. Leaders take responsibility. I have yet to hear the president take responsibility for his own idea, sequestration. And c’mon, 2.4% of an overall budget in the neighborhood of $3.538 TRILLION?

Let’s all chip in and send the White House our recommendations for where to cut 3% off the budget, since these folks are too incompetent to figure this one out. Right now, call, email, flood the White House switchboard with your suggestions. After all, this is a Republic and our process is a representative Democracy (at least for now).
