Allen West: Folks, it’s TIME…

It’s time we stop caring what the liberal progressive socialist left thinks or wants. It’s time we stop appeasing them when they throw tantrums. The adults of America spoke.

Ready for another dose of “Liberal Progressive Socialist Hypocrisy” — Episode 1,274?

The West Family had a blast with our friends and fellow ROTC alumni in Knoxville, Tennessee over the weekend. We spent most of the time with my longest friend, with whom I attended ROTC at Tennessee and served with on active duty, Gary Potts, and his wife Brenda. Their youngest daughter Lauren is a freshman ROTC cadet at Tennessee, and their oldest is a U.S. Navy Ensign, Naval Aviator. We all gathered Saturday night in Marketplace Square in downtown Knoxville with some other friends, the Skaaren family, for dinner.

And it happened. It had been a great weekend, and the Vols had beaten Kentucky…but the rantings pierced the cool evening ambiance. Yes, there were anti-Trump protesters making the rounds through downtown Knoxville.

I just gotta tell y’all, these kids remind me of the four-year-old throwing a temper tantrum right in the middle of the cereal aisle in the grocery store. You know what I’m talking about! And we all walk down the aisle in embarrassed shock watching, or we just avoid the aisle until the drama passes. Some look upon the parent with pity; others gaze down the aisle and think, “get junior in line.” Well, Saturday evening we witnessed the kids whose parents acquiesced and gave them all the Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes, Coco Puffs and participation trophies they wanted. And now, to borrow the phrase, the “chickens have come home to roost,” and junior is now throwing a temper tantrum not in the grocery store, but on the streets of our Nation.

These little progressive socialists are all upset because they didn’t get their way. The adults who’d been observing them throw a tantrum in the grocery store put an end to the rant. And they now find themselves in utter shock to leave the grocery store with no cereal at all…and they are angrier.

I truly find the reaction of the progressive left sad, pathetic and appalling — but expected.

See, back in 2009 and 2013, there was a telling example of how the liberal progressive left acts. As reported back on October 17, 2013 by the Washington Post, A visibly frustrated President Obama delivered a blunt message to Republicans with whom he had feuded over the government shutdown and the debt ceiling over the past month on Tuesday: Elections matter. I won; you lost. Deal with it

That’s a paraphrase — obviously. Here’s what Obama actually said“You don’t like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election. Push to change it. But don’t break it. Don’t break what our predecessors spent over two centuries building. That’s not being faithful to what this country’s about.” “Go out there and win an election.”

That’s about as direct as you will ever hear a politician be about how he  feels about his opposition and how they are conducting themselves. (It’s not the first time Obama has used the “I won” construct. Remember the health-care summit in early 2010 when Obama told Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.): “The election is over.”

Obama’s argument comes down to this: He believes that the 2012 election — in which he was reelected easily and Democrats surprisingly picked up Senate seats and won a handful of House seats — was a clear signal that the American electorate prefers his vision for government to the one offered by Republicans. He views that mandate as a broad one — encompassing  fiscal  matters, health care, immigration and pretty much everything else.

So here’s how the party of the jackass sees it: when they win elections, shut up — they won, you lost, deal with it. And when they lose elections, as they did with losing the House in 2010 and Senate in 2014, and just last week — well, elections do not matter.

Matter of fact, here’s how Obama responded to his two midterm loses: unleash the power of the IRS against the conservative grassroots movement, and tell the GOP-controlled House and Senate, “I have a pen and a phone”…in essence, screw the American people and the election. I will still do what I want because elections do not matter when we do not win them! That’s how the left rolls, and why I look at these cupcakes out protesting and tell them simply, “deal with it.” You know, where are Obama and Clinton? They know what’s going on. Where is any leftist leader’s voice to say, stifle yourself? You won’t hear those voices because they WILL NOT accept any result but their getting the cereal they want. The left got taken to the woodshed, it hurt, and those two midterm elections and this 2016 election sent a clear message — no Frosted Flakes, Coco Puffs, or Fruit Loops anymore.

However, you can see the liberal progressive media doing their part already to stoke angst. You ever thought about what the word “compromise” and “bipartisan” means to progressive socialists? I can tell you, when they win it, means shut up and deal with it. When the left loses, it means shut up and deal with us. Here is the media asking Donald Trump and the victors, what are you going to do to retain Obama’s failing legacy?

For the left, compromise and bipartisanship means that even when the GOP has a majority, they still need to ask the left for permission. Compare that to the first two years of Obama’s reign when he had all three, and the GOP was told you are not included. You don’t get to present amendments to legislation, we don’t have debate; even Harry Reid shut down the 60-vote threshold…anyone hear the liberal progressive media complain? And when the GOP took over the Senate in 2014, the leftist media pummeled Mitch McConnell about changing the filibuster rule back — doggone, McConnell acquiesced and gave the …..
