If you desire to know what is plaguing our military right now, retired Army LtCol Allen B. West invites you to look at this one picture. You Warriors will understand right away that the problem is not self-imposed, but comes from the politically correct kingdom of the Democrats and the Social Justice Warriors. Not one to mince words, Mr. West shows how a traitor and his/her supporters have made a mockery of justice, the military, the judicial system, and national security. It will make you furious.
As Written By Allen B. West:
This will be a very short analysis, simply because it speaks for itself. It will also give testimony as to why I’m against anyone suffering from the mental condition of gender dysphoria serving in the U.S. military.
As reported by Vogue magazine, “One hot, humid early-summer evening in New York, a hired car slows on Bleecker Street, and a young woman inside prepares for her first party out in years. She is wearing a midnight-colored semiformal dress by Altuzarra and Everlane ankle boots with heels. Her hair is trimmed into a pixie cut; her makeup softens, but won’t hide, a dust of freckles.
“I don’t know if I’ll know anybody,” she fretted earlier, but she seems to have quelled what nerves remain. She is accompanied by a couple of men who surround her like guards. For the first time in a long time, that’s a welcome thing. Chelsea Manning—graceful, blue-eyed, trans—smiles and prepares herself. Since her release from the Fort Leavenworth prison, on May 17, Manning has been living in New York, with a low profile. Tonight she will make her social debut in her own skin.
From February to April 2010, while living as Bradley, an Army intelligence analyst stationed in Iraq, Manning sent three-quarters of a million classified or sensitive documents to WikiLeaks. The breach’s breadth was startling, as were its contents, ranging from the so-called Collateral Murder video, showing a U.S. helicopter killing a group of Baghdad pedestrians that included children and press, to hundreds of thousands of “Cablegate” documents, disclosing 44 years of State Department messaging. When Manning’s role became clear, she turned into a polarizing figure—celebrated as a whistle-blower by some, condemned as a traitor by others. In August 2013, after pleading guilty to ten charges and being found guilty of 20, she was sentenced to 35 years in prison. The day after the sentencing, Manning came out publicly as trans.”
This is the opening paragraph from the Vogue magazine interview of the person who betrayed their oath and divulged over 700,000 pieces of classified information to outside sources. This heinous act was done while our nation was engaged in combat, where lives were at stake. And there were those who did lose their lives because of the actions of U.S. Army Private Bradley Manning.
That’s who the Army charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced for an immense act of treason. However, leave it up to the ideological agenda and identity politics driven progressive socialist left to turn those actions into victimization…all because someone came out and cried that they had a mental condition, gender dysphoria.
So now this person is being celebrated by the left and displayed in full shame, as some kind of “heroic” figure. The caption under a picture of said individual in a female swimsuit on a beach states, “It’s not like I’m living in fear or anything,” Manning says. “I’m so glad to be out and about and walking around.”
Not like I am living in fear? Yet, how many did because of the classified information this person treacherously leaked and provided, in full violation of the standards of our military, and affirmation to properly handle our classified documents by this individual? The headline of the Vogue issue states, “Chelsea Manning Changed the Course of History. Now She’s Focusing on Herself”. Changed what history? What did this person do that shall remembered in the annals of American history as honorable and impeccable?
Nothing when you consider how this week started, aw the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Guadalcanal…that combat action changed the course of history, and gave us unforgettable names such as Lewis “Chesty” Puller and John Basilone. But for the progressive socialist left, that’s not historic and those men aren’t memorable.
It’s just like the celebrated U.S. Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle was never featured on a Rolling Stone cover, like the Boston marathon Islamic jihadist. For the left, Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction, and is a victim. This while US Army 1LT Clint Lorance still sits in Ft. Leavenworth, imprisoned because he was honorable, he faced the enemy and ordered them killed…doubt Vogue will have a cover story on him, unless to demonize.
Focusing on “herself?” Army Private Bradley Manning was deployed in a combat zone and shared classified information. That is a crime punishable by death according to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), just the same as Bergdahl’s actions. Of course, no one is going to sentence these individuals to death, but the commutation of this person’s sentence is troubling. But the reason why is disconcerting, and sadly gives reason as to why anyone suffering from a mental condition should not be allowed service into our military — which is not a ……..
