Allen West “VA Secretary should be FIRED for these despicable comments”

VA Secretary McDonald, I find it hard to believe you ever wore the uniform of our Army. Then again, that’s correct, all you did was wear a uniform, like a costume — hence why you can compare veterans to kids going to Disneyland.

VA Secretary

As Written By Allen B. West:

Let’s take a quick review of all the bovine excrement coming out of the Obama administration. No, we don’t have all day, but let’s just look at a top line review. First, we know White House Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes created lies and falsehoods about the Iranian nuclear deal. What was the Obama administration response? Tell the House Oversight Committee that Rhodes would not be testifying. We shared the specific reason with y’all last week here.

There can be no doubt that what Obama administration officials say is a reflection of what President Obama believes and embraces. After all, these people make absurd statements – remember Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction? And they lie but are never held accountable. Heck, even Eric Holder was responsible for U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry losing his life – but there were no consequences. So it must be deduced that Barack Obama is just fine with it all — doggone, he abandoned Americans to die in Benghazi, lied about it and was reelected.

Which leads to the recent comments by the VA Secretary regarding veteran wait times.

As reported by CNN, “Veterans Affairs Secretary Bob McDonald downplayed Monday the time it takes for veterans to receive medical treatment by comparing the “experience” of waiting for health care to Disneyland guests waiting for a ride.

“When you go to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what’s important?” McDonald told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast in Washington. “What’s important is what’s your satisfaction with the experience?”

American Legion National Commander Dale Barnett excoriated McDonald: “The American Legion agrees that the VA secretary’s analogy between Disneyland and VA wait times was an unfortunate comparison because people don’t die while waiting to go on Space Mountain.”

“We also disagree with the substance of his comment because wait times are very important to not just the satisfaction quotient, but in some cases the veterans health,” he said in a statement.

Prominent Republicans criticized the secretary in the hours following his remarks, including presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, who painted McDonald as an example of Obama’s administration.

“Obama’s VA Secretary just said we shouldn’t measure wait times. Hillary says VA problems are not ‘widespread.’ I will take care of our vets!” Trump tweeted, a reference to comments Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton made in 2015.”

Hillary Clinton went so far as to state that the whole thing was just a fabricated Republican talking point. But this is the issue, what will be the consequences?

The one word I have for McDonald is RESIGN, and I mean yesterday for making such an inane and callous statement, but he will not. Let’s not forget this is the same McDonald who said he’d served with Special Forces. He never did. Perhaps his mind was clouded with Tinkerbell’s pixie dust at the time.

Clinton should have been forced to withdraw from the presidential race for dismissing the issue of VA care and support to our veterans — instead folks (admittedly in small numbers) show up at her rallies and cheer in mindless and moronic fervor.

Let’s just be honest, if this were a Republican administration, this would be the top story, breaking news, and there would be a call for an immediate firing. However, it’s a progressive socialist administration and a liberal progressive…..
