I want to tell you something about character. It’s absolutely essential for every leader, not just leaders on the battlefield. And it’s noticeably missing in Washington.
Character means fighting for principles and sometimes doing what’s hard, instead of what’s convenient. It’s taking risks, because more than just an election is at stake.
When I look at this ObamaCare debacle that Barack Obama has forced on America and Nancy Pelosi’s selfish demagoguery in the House I’m strongly reminded that Washington has a lot less character than it needs.
The Allen West Guardian Fund is working tirelessly to elect fourteen hard-charging constitutional conservatives to the U.S. Congress in 2014 that Washington desperately needs — not just because they are conservative and principled, but because they have the character to lead us forward.
However, to be successful, we must raise $250,000 before the December 31st Federal Election Commission fundraising deadline.
I know we can do better if we band together and fight to change Washington.
The Guardian Fund will successfully complete our mission if, and only if, we have the support of conservative patriots like you.
It’s time we stopped settling for inadequate leadership.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Steadfast and loyal,
Lt. Col. Allen B. West, USA (ret)
U.S. Congressman (2011-2013)
