Allen West: What California is now using taxpayer money for completely BLOWS my mind…

It is very hard to determine what is legal and what is illegal in California. There seems to be a lens that the alt-left social progressive use in Sacramento that turns truth and lie upside down. Is it legal to tax legal taxpayers to spend those taxes to support illegal aliens fighting deportation? If you are a flaming liberal in Sacramento, that would seem to be the case.

As Written By Allen B. West:

When the Supreme Court decided in Brown vs the Board of Education that “separate but equal” would no longer apply to our education system, in effect ushering in school desegregation, some states stood against the ruling. The federal government stepped in, and in Little Rock, Arkansas, a Republican president nationalized the National Guard to enforce the rule of law, the “law of the land.”

Fast forward a few decades. The Supreme Court decides in Obergfell vs Hodges that marriage is a right, and that all states must comply with the “law of the land.” Of course it’s still perplexing that we have a Second Amendment right, enshrined in our original Constitutional bill of rights, but the progressive socialist left does not consider it the “law of the land.” And what is even more hypocritical, and abjectly disturbing, is that we have a legal system for immigration, yet the liberal progressive left tells us there is no rule of law when it comes to illegal immigration. Consider this distressing report coming from a state, that I must admit, appears to be the largest concentration of incompetence and idiocy: California.

As reported by the Washington Free Beacon, “The City Council in Sacramento, Calif. voted unanimously late Thursday to spend taxpayer money on services to help illegal immigrants fight deportation.

The funding would help children of illegal immigrants by providing them legal guardianships. Immigrants could also protect their bank accounts and homes with city-funded powers of attorney. The nonprofits receiving funding would educate immigrants on their rights as well. Guerra, who led a task force that proposed allocating the city’s funds, justified the decision by pointing out that illegal immigrants often pay taxes and contribute to the economy. One board member of the Sacramento Republican Woman Federated called the council’s decision “disgusting.” “I don’t think that taxpayer money should be used to support this. I’d rather it be given to the homeless,” Jennifer Garets told the Bee.”

Let me get this right, the capital city of the state of California city council just voted, unanimously, to use taxpayer funds to support illegal immigrants? Now, someone please explain to me how that is anything other than what 19th century French economist Frederic Bastiat described as misconceived benevolence enabled by “legal plunder?”

I wholeheartedly concur with Ms. Jennifer Garets, and this Councilman Guerra is once again using the lame leftist excuse that illegals pay taxes: how? Are they filing state or federal income tax statements? And if they are, they’re breaking the law by using illegal tax identification or social security numbers — then again California provides illegals with picture identification, so no doubt they’re voting as well. Councilman Guerra fails to understand the crux of the issue: these individuals are in America illegally, and I’m quite sure the amount of remittances being sent back to Mexico is rather high. Perhaps these remittances, which are in the billions annually, should be taxed, at a 39 percent rate. After all, that’s what we’re forcing our businesses and corporations to pay…and they are legal.

But something else that sticks in my craw about this measure. Why not use the tax dollars in Sacramento to take care of our veterans, especially homeless veterans? Well it’s simple: that’s not a priority for the liberal progressive left………
