Cheney: Obama administration has damaged and weakened U.S. military

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Former Vice President Dick Cheney says the next president of the United States needs to be someone who understands the world we live in and who is “prepared to make unbelievably difficult decisions.”

As Reported By The Associated Press:

Speaking at Colorado Christian University in suburban Denver on Monday night, Cheney said the Obama administration has damaged and weakened the military, and that the threat level today is greater than it was following the 9/11 attacks.

He referenced recent attacks in Europe and in San Bernardino, California, saying the current administration is not keeping an edge against the country’s potential enemies.

Cheney was promoting his new book, “Exceptional: Why the World Needs a Strong America.”
