First Lady Melania Trump Responds to Grade School Librarian Who Rejected Childrens Books

In what can only be seen as social grandstanding, a librarian has turned down books gift to her school by First Lady, Melania Trump. Liz Phipps Soeiro turned up her nose at the gift from the first lady, and also criticised the Secretary of Education Betty DeVos. What was her reasoning? Mz. Soeiro thinks Dr Zeus books are racists and oppressive. That was a bad move on her part, but the First Lady’s measured response was what you would expect from a graceful lady.

In other developments, you can see just how big a hypocrite the librarian really is. FOX News has reported and posted a photo of her dressed as The Cat in The Hat and holding the same in a doll. I guess back when Michelle Obama was reading Dr. Zeus, it was not so racist, ‘eh? It is also reported that the librarian has been “counseled” by the school district.

As Written By Carlos Garcia for The Blaze:

First lady Melania Trump released a statement through her communications director in response to a grade school librarian who spurned her gift of free books for the school children.

Why did the librarian turn down the gift?

In a long screed published earlier this week, elementary school librarian Liz Phipps Soeiro sneered at the gift from the first lady, offering a few reasons in explanation. She called the Dr. Seuss books “cliched” and used the occasion to criticize Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

She continued on to deride the first lady for sending books some consider racist and enforcing “systemic racism and oppression.”

How did the first lady respond?

“Mrs. Trump intends to use her platform as First Lady to help as many children as she can. She has demonstrated this in both actions and words since her husband took office, and sending books to schools across the country is but one example,” read the statement from the first lady’s communications…….
