George W. Bush Special Message on 15th Memorial of Sept 11, 2001

President George W. Bush delivers a very special message in memorial on this fifteenth remembrance of the tragedy on September 11, 2001.

This Sunday we remember. We were wounded and not weakened. We remember the lesson of 9/11 that evil is real but so is courage. We remember the lives lost, the first responders that rushed into crumbling buildings to save others. The passengers aboard flight 93 that brought down their own plane to prevent further death.  We remember the men and women on the front lives that made the ultimate sacrifice to keep up safe.

Since Sept 11 2002, Americans have participated in service projects and charitable giving on the 9/11 annual day of service. In so doing the keep alive the spirit of unity and compassion that arose in the aftermath after of the attacks and serving a cause greater than self America demonstrates our best self.
