Here’s the REAL story behind Democrat wins this week

In just a few days, the Democrat win in Virginia, as well as elsewhere, have been touted as the death of the GOP and the ousting of Donald Trump from President in the next elections. All the talking heads and liberal pundits foresee this as a a watershed moment for their liberal cause. Not so fast. Back the truck up, as they say. Let former Congressman Allen West explain a few things to you.

As Written By Allen B. West:

Today we know who won the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial elections. Interestingly enough, of course, as the Democrats have won both races it will be lauded by the liberal progressive media as a referendum against President Trump.

Exhibit A, this article from Vox.com:

Simply put, election night 2017 was a fantastic night for the Democratic Party.

First off, the party won convincing victories in the two marquee governors’ races.

But the good news for the party didn’t end there. In Virginia, Democrats also won sweeping victories down-ballot, particularly in the state’s House of Delegates — including in races that weren’t even on the radar of most electoral analysts. All sorts of Democrats picked up seats there, from conventional establishment times to a democratic socialist to the first openly transgender person to win a state legislative seat in the United States. The Republican brand was simply toxic.

It’s what’s happened in the past to this moment.

Consider there were two men, both governors of these states, Virginia and New Jersey, who were once deemed frontrunners to be future presidents of these United States. In Virginia, there was the very charismatic Bob McDonald, and New Jersey had Chris Christie. McDonald was so very popular and was clearly seen as a future political leader in America on a national stage. I remember McDonnell giving the GOP response to President Obama’s State of the Union address. He actually did very well and used a great platform, the Virginia State House with a background audience. McDonnell seemed to have it all — military background, a daughter serving in the military, and the governor of the state that gave us many of our Founding Fathers. Well, all that attention meant he became a target.

As reported back in April this year by CBS, “In the wake of last fall’s elections, we’ve heard lots of talk of draining the swamp, of corruption and influence peddling, but amid all the heated discourse, you might have missed an important political story that is reverberating across the country. It’s the case of former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, who was an up-and-coming Republican star with a squeaky-clean image and a record of promoting job growth. But his political career exploded in scandal worthy of a soap opera when he was convicted of public corruption and sentenced to two years in federal prison. He fought the charges all the way to the United States Supreme Court — wracking up a hefty legal bill of $27 million. It turned out to be worth it. The Supreme Court reversed his conviction in a controversial and far-reaching ruling – but not without a hitch. Chief Justice John Roberts described the case as “tawdry tales.”

McDonnell was convicted on public corruption and sentenced to two years in prison, and fined over $177,000 Doggone, Bowe Bergdahl was a deserter whose actions resulted in six American Soldiers losing their lives and was set free with a $10,000 fine. Ya see why I am rather angered about that decision by Colonel Jeffrey Nance?

But, back to the topic at hand, McDonnell had to fight for his freedom for a very small “crime,” which as it turns out, by unanimous SCOTUS decision, that conviction was overturned. So why is it that we have a Clinton criminal syndicate ………
