Former FBI Director James Comey has entered the world of Twitter. I guess that he felt it was time to make a few statements of his own. He would not want Donald Trump to have all the fun. Maybe he is bored with his forced retirement.
Everybody knows that the former Director has to be a great defender of the free press. That has to be why he was making sure that he leaked selective information to the press about his conversations with his then boss, Donald Trump. Mr. Comey wants to make sure that the president cannot go unchallenged in his attacks against Fake News. You can see Comey’s tweets here.

Former FBI James Comey is new to Twitter, but his influence is nothing new. So when he took to Twitter Saturday evening to “sub-tweet” President Donald Trump, thousands took notice as Comey’s tweet spread like a viral wildfire.
What did Comey tweet?
Comey tweeted a quote about the importance of the free press, which is attributed to Founding Father and third U.S. President Thomas Jefferson.

Within hours, the tweet accumulated tens of thousands of retweets and “likes.” The reason why? Because it was likely a response to something Trump had tweeted less than an hour before.
Trump, who is fairly active on Twitter each weekend, lashed out at CNN International for being a “major source of (Fake) news.”
