WASHINGTON –  In the midst of a measles outbreak, President Obama is telling parents to get their kids vaccinated.

Obama says those who don’t get their shots can pose a risk to infants and other people who can’t get vaccinated.

The president spoke in an interview with NBC Sunday. The interview is airing Monday on The Today Show but the network released excerpts in advance.

More than 100 cases of the measles have been reported in the U.S. since last month. Many cases have been traced directly or indirectly to Disneyland in Southern California. (read more here)
