Remember When Jeff Sessions and John Lewis linked arms at Edmund Pettus Bridge?

House Representative John Lewis has either a very bad or a very selective memory when it comes to Jeff Sessions. Mr. Lewis testified against Senator Sessions in the Senate Attorney General hearing. Unfortunately for John, there are photos of the two who are arm in arm on the 50th-anniversary march in Selma. What say you, Mr. Lewis?

As Written By ALEX PAPPAS for the Washington Examiner:

Democratic Rep. John Lewis, the civil rights icon from Georgia, testified against Attorney General-designate Jeff Sessions on Wednesday, saying: “It doesn’t matter how Sen. Sessions may smile, how friendly he may be, how he may speak to you, but we need someone who gonna stand up, speak up, and speak out for the people that need help, for people that have been discriminated against.”

Democratic Rep. John Lewis has personal experience with Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions: both were photographed together in 2015 in Selma, Ala., for the 50th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday.” (Photo courtesy of Todd Stacy)
