Robby Mook: Finally a Clinton Staffer That Knew of Opposition Research [Video]

[VIDEO] In an amazing development, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, Robert Mook, has come forward and acknowledged that he knew of the opposition research that was going on. In this interview on CNN with Anderson Cooper, he even explains why and how he set up funding through staff lawyers to get the research done. 

Up until this moment, any staffer that had anything to do with the Clinton campaign had no knowledge of opposition research. That is weird as Mr. Mook refers to multiple meetings with people on the knowledge gained through this research and other methods. 

Mook also could not help himself when it came to blaming the research on Republicans. He tries to impune The Washinton Free Beacon,  saying that the Democrats just continued what the Beacon had started. A simple timeline check puts the lie to that statement. Read more below:

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said Friday that he instructed the campaign’s legal team to conduct the opposition research that led to the infamous anti-Trump dossier.

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Mook also suggested that he and others on the campaign were briefed on some of the findings in the dossier, which was compiled by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele.

Mook did say that he was not aware that Steele was involved in the opposition research.

Mook is the first member of the Clinton campaign to acknowledge having any awareness of the Trump investigation, which was commissioned by opposition research firm Fusion GPS. Hillary Clinton herself said earlier this week that she did not know her campaign was behind the funding for the dossier.
