The Liberals Unhinged Reactions To False Alarm In Hawaii

One of the more annoying sounds to come out of the Hawaiian incoming ballistic missile warning scare was the whining and complaining by actor and no longer funny Jim Carey. In his widely spread tweet, Chicken Little Jim laid all the blame at President Trump’s feet and then launched into a barrage of name calling. And he wasn’t the only one.

If the President had been responsible for the warning, it would have been national and worldwide. As it is, the local government of Hawaii shouldered all the blame. It was an error, supposedly, by one of their employees. Here is the story.

Until Sunday, I was a huge fan of Jim Carrey. Alongside Jeff Daniels, Carrey is responsible for the greatest movie in history: “Dumb and Dumber.”

On Sunday, however, Carrey sent out a particularly idiotic tweet.

There are a number of reasons that tweet is so stupid.

First off, it plays to the notion long adored by foreign leaders like Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping of China that Americans are inherently weak. When he woke up and saw the news, Carrey immediately assumed that a ballistic missile attack was going to kill him. Why? The most appropriate response here would have been “I woke up this morning in Hawaii and thought, ‘do I have ten minutes to live?'”

Never surrender to fear.
