Senator Al Franken has been charged with the sexual harassment of news anchor Leeann Tweeden. You have all seen the “funny” photo that was taken. For this action, Mr. Franken is deeply sorry and promises never to do anything like that ever again. He would even invite a Senate ethics inquiry into his behavior.
Well, there are two things wrong with that course of action. The first problem is that Senate ethics investigations do nothing but waste time and produce zero results. It is a nice gambit, however, because it looks good. The other issue is that Mr. Sessions ignores half of the harassment that he committed. It is not even mentioned. We noticed it, Al.

Establishment media outlets have showered praise on Democratic Minnesota Sen. Al Franken for admitting to the sexual assault allegations against him, but that’s not exactly accurate.
Franken has admitted to posing for a picture that showed him groping news anchor Leeann Tweeden while she was sleeping. The only allegation Franken is admitting to is the one he was caught doing on camera.

Tweeden said that prior to the groping incident, Franken had insisted they practice a kissing scene that he had written into one of their skits. She says she expected the scene would stop short of actually kissing.
