Who the heck is in charge of our military?

Retired Army LtCol Allen West just found out what happened and wants to know who is in charge of our military. The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is the Commander in Chief of our military. That is pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, social engineering has decimated our military’s morale and readiness. When judges insert themselves into the mix, good order and discipline go out the window. Here is Mr. West’s gripe about this latest debacle.

As Written By Allen B. West:

One of my favorite movies is “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” starring Will Farrell. The movie has many memorable quotes but the one appropriate for this particular story is, “this just happened.”

At a time when our military readiness is damaged and has been decimated by the previous eight years of Obama, many of us believed that last year with the election of Donald Trump, the course would be reversed for our nation’s armed forces. We truly believed the social experiment the progressive socialist left had hurled upon the men and women of our military would end. We actually believed we’d see a stark change in the direction our military was headed, especially since it was a campaign rally cry and we had a SecDef nicknamed “Mad Dog.”

Well, this just happened.

As reported by NBC News, “An active-duty service member underwent gender transition surgery Tuesday in the first such procedure approved under a waiver allowing the Pentagon to pay for the operation.

The patient is an infantry soldier who identifies as a woman, according to a source close to the service member. She got her Combat Infantry Badge in Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan in 2003, the source said.

Vice Admiral Raquel Bono, head of the Defense Health Agency, which provides medical care to active-duty personnel, approved the waiver request for the surgery Monday, according to a Defense Department document.

“This afternoon, an active-duty military member received a sex-reassignment surgery. Military hospitals do not have the surgical expertise to perform this type of surgery, therefore it was conducted in a private hospital,” the Pentagon said in a statement after NBC News’ initial report on the procedure.

“Because this service member had already begun a sex-reassignment course of treatment, and the treating doctor deemed this surgery medically necessary, a waiver was approved by the director of the Defense Health Agency. The Supplemental Health Care Program will cover this surgery in accordance with the Department’s interim guidance on transgender Service members.”

In August, President Donald Trump signed a memo to halt future funding for sex-reassignment surgery and also bar the Pentagon from accepting transgender recruits. Two organizations filed lawsuits challenging the move, and a federal judge blocked both bans last month.”

Who the heck is in charge of our military? We shared with you the story about the DC federal court judge who blocked the directive of the commander in chief of our Armed Services. What standing does this judge have? We all know about the military judge who decided to release Bowe Bergdahl. What is happening here?

We now have judicial activism all over the place directing the actions of our military? At a time when we have our weapon systems, especially combat aviation, suffering under jackboot of sequestration, we can afford to have gender reassignment surgery?

Just this week we shared with you the story about the U.S. Army easing regulations and opening up waivers for individuals suffering from mental conditions, of which gender dysphoria is one, and now we know that we the American taxpayer is footing the bill for mental conditions. What next, liposuction for fat troops? Heck, why not pay for…….

I hate to say it: What just happened proves our military is being literally emasculated under Trump’s watch – Allen B West
